The series actually "kicks off" at 8 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 16 when Fr. Mitch Pacwa welcomes Fr. Robert Barron to his program, EWTN Live. So, tune in at 8 pm for Fr. Barron's introduction to the series.

If this is half as good as the EWTN series based on the book “How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization” it will be spectacular.

Same truth-filled theme as this remarkable commercial:

I have ordered the DVD set for Christmas. Can’t wait to watch it. I became Catholic on Easter Eve, 2008 and it was the greatest thing I have ever done in my life. Nothing comes close. Peace be with you my brothers and sisters.

They posted a flyer of this series in our weekly bulletin. I’m going to DVR it for later viewing by dh and myself. I’m very interested in seeing it.

If you want to feel even better about our Faith and arm yourself to defend Her against the ignorant, I highly recommend the book (and EWTN series) I mentioned.

God Bless you on your faith journey.

I am a late convert myself, coming into The Church, Easter, 1999.

We were thrilled to see this offered on EWTN. We kept waiting for the local Public Broadcasting channel, WGBH, to put it on, but like the idea of watching EWTN better, anyway.

From what I understand, what you saw does not include THESE episodes. Be sure to watch and let me know if they repeat what you saw, okay?

Screen name in honor of my father, and let’s not forget that Luther never wanted to break up the Church, only reform, which it needed.

I have ATT Uverse and the titles listed above don’t match the description on my dvr. For example, Fri at 10pm my tv says I’m going to get the episode on Peter and Paul (which I already recorded off of PBS). Now I know I will set my dvr for everything, even if I get repeats.

Thanks for the head up.
