Prayer requests are, of course, usually in the nature of a petition for assistance.
This one is a little different.
Last night my daughter was in a single-car, end-over-end accident at 75 miles per hour. She was the passenger.
She's a little bumped and bruised, but there are no fractures or internal injuries.
Anyone who cares to is welcome to join me in a prayer of thanksgiving for this immense mercy.
Blessed are you, Lord God: Blessed are you for ever. Holy is your name: Blessed are you for ever. Great is your mercy for your people: Blessed are you for ever.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, We praise you and give you glory: We bless you for calling us to be your holy people.
Remain in our hearts, And guide us in our love and service. Help us to let our light shine before others And lead them to the way of faith.
Holy Trinity of love, We praise you now and for ever.
We praise you, Father of all; Cleanse our hearts and our lives With your holy word And make our prayer pleasing to you. Guide us by your Spirit As we follow in the paths of Jesus our Savior.
All glory and praise are yours, Father Omnipotent, For ever and ever.

The driver was the only other person in the car. She also escaped without major injury.
75 miles per hour, end over end.

Sometimes a well timed hug from our Lord goes unnoticed. Now and then, it protects us from from crushing destruction.

Oh my!! Praising God with you - what a miracle - just bumps and bruises. Must have been all the airbags and design built to take the shock, and at 75 - wow! This is when you really are thankful for all the changes in product design over the decades to keep consumers safe! PTL

So, sometimes does a 'tap on the shoulder'. God has given them both a chance to learn something, if nothing more than an appreciation for His love. Praise Him for the blessings He bestows!

My grandson survived the same type of accident 2 years ago, I do not know how any of the 3 boys survived, except to understand the Mercies of God.

Not just a roll around the longitudinal axis, but trunk over hood over trunk. I still don’t know how many times. I wanted to go out and look at the site, but another daughter needs help with her statistics homework.
Thank God I still have all my daughters.
