Oprah Winfrey created a buzz Sunday in Houston with a surprise appearance at the 11 a.m. service at Lakewood Church.
Seated in the front row of the crowd of roughly 13,000, Oprah and Tyler Perry were announced as guests at the service. Houstonian Diego Quintanilla, who was sitting near the duo, tweeted: "I'm freaking out!! I can't breathe! It smells like money and amazingness!!"

One thing for sure Okra and Tyler didn’t have to worry about hearing the plan of Salvation at Lakewood church. Just love Jesus and get rich. Oh wait they are rich.
very interesting...good sign
LOL!
Oooops. Don’t say anything bad about the “Chronic Blinker”. Oh, wait. This isn’t a religious thread. So, have at it!
By the way, this past Sunday he “preached” that if things are still lousy in your life “.... don’t give up. Your time’s coming. We’ll take the offering now.”
“I’m freaking out!! I can’t breathe! It smells like money and amazingness!!”
Why so many people flock to hear him say absolutely nothing is beyond me. Sometimes, going to my church is a bit of a hassle, think about what a hassle it must be to get in that place. And I get to hear God, the King of the universe, talk to me. They get some little con-man slopping around gooey superlative.
Joel Osteen, the Sienfield of religion...
Seems as though God was not the one being worshiped in this church on Sunday.
Well, I guess I can’t wonder anymore why you never see Oprah and Osteen in the same room together.

Sad to say, you are dead bang right. No wonder the unbelieving world laughs at the Christian Church. If Christians do not take seriously Him before whom the seraphim cry out, “Holy, holy, holy,” how will the watching world ever learn anything of Him. It truly is embarrassing.
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” (Matthew 6:24)
