I could not glean the result- did it end with any signs of enlightenment?

I think so? When I explained gnosticism well and roughly quoted Morals and Dogma, I think he was impressed enough that i wasn’t a yahoo. But really his bumper sticker mantras were so thick that I highly doubt it. I resolved to myself that I wasn’t going to be masochistic about it and even told myself this was a good practice session for me to stay reasonable and logical in the face of mistruths. At one point he asked me if I were given one chance to change one thing in the world, what would it be. I responded that I would want people to peacefully seek the truth. Something, I pointed out, that was missing from his multiple positions.

(...cont)... It was calm and collective for the most part. We left shaking hands and me saying to go to my site for my email if he wished to talk about anything.
