Is there a way to find out if one of my ancestors was “dead dunked”?

Check familysearch .com

also Ancestry is now owned by the Mormons

even before that it was influenced by Mormon doctrine..

Their free family trees have a menu that includes LDS baptisms, endowments etc

also the old
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com

usually has the baptism dates centuries after the birth...

Theres several clues as to who runs the site..

But check familysearch

If your ancestor is in there he will have been dead dunked

If his name is in there several times its because he was dead dunked several times...

different temples different strangers putting in YOUR ancestors name for dead dunking...

When I first started finding mine in there I want to throw up...

and you can no longer access the pages to see all the info either...

You use to be able to go to pages that would give you the particular temple dates etc

When Obamas Mom was dead dunked in June 2008 and married FINALLY to Obama senior, endowed and sealed to Barry making him a Mormon president the Mormons changed their site

Now only paid up members of Mormonism can access the pages...

Yes. Best to approach a Mormon with a temple recommend in good standing with the Church, and have them look up records online.
