Prayers for your father!
It took my dad a couple weeks ago. Last doctor visit before contacting home hospice our doctor told him it had spread everywhere. I suspect even his brain at that point. He lost all will or appetite too eat and in the last three-four days his ability to even safely drink.
My prayers too anyone and their family fighting cancer. For months years actually our prayers was for healing. He outlived the initial prognoses the doctors gave him by over 8 years. The last couple of weeks prayers were for his release from the torment cancer brings it's host.
The hurting when skin is being touched is normal as nerve endings are extra sensitive as is the person with cancer trying to their remove sheets, clothing, etc. GOD be with both of you and your families.
Prayers for your father’s health.
Lord, in the company of saints in Heaven we pray for Thy servant Dick and his family in their hour of trial. Be near to them, Lord.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.

We said the Rosary and the Seven Penitential Psalms every day at my father's bedside (you can find them online at THIS LINK--or you can find in your own Bible Psalms 6, 31, 37, 50, 101, 129 and 142 (though the numbering of Psalms may not be exactly the same in all translations.)
My father probably could not understand the words, since he was hard of hearing and we certainly were not going to shout in his ear. But he knew we were praying, probably just from the rhythmic murmuring sound, and that was a comfort.
And God hears.
There's only a little touching in the Anointing of the SIck/Last Rites, and the priest can minimize that on account of your father's touch-sensitivity.
Will be praying for you and him.
Prayers for your mom and dad.
in my prayers.
Prayers for your Father. Also for you. May God bless you and your family.
Thank you for telling me.
I am remembering him in my prayers.
