I am glad the Broncos won. It's really a shame that a guy is hounded for his faith in what was once a Christian country, while a dog-killing punk like Vick is lionized.

Kurt Warner had to deal with the same thing. But, like Tebow, he attracted a lot of fans, because of his faith, especially at the end of his career with the Cardinals.

As a Bama fan, I have always respected and liked Tebow. The ironic twist is that if he would have come to Alabama and played football (when we were suffering under Shula), we would have kept Shula and Nick Saban would have gone elsewhere. God bless you on that one Tim. BTW – all those who criticize him for thanking Jesus when he wins do not understand the context under which this is stated. It is not a specific thank you for winning. It is a thank you that I was able to perform well. What many do not realize is that after many NFL and College games, Christian players from both sides will often meet at midfield after the game and pray. I think this is pretty cool and I hardly ever go to church.

OK. When you have 24/7 coverage on the sports network, and 2 hours analysis before and after the games, many opinions will be expressed. As always, most are wrong. Analysts and writers would be better off ignoring what Tim Tebow expresses, but just like attacking conservative politicians, they just cannot help themselves. Tim is a light for Christ it appears and so the attacks will come. As I said yesterday; may we all be so committed to the Lord.
