As a Bama fan, I have always respected and liked Tebow. The ironic twist is that if he would have come to Alabama and played football (when we were suffering under Shula), we would have kept Shula and Nick Saban would have gone elsewhere. God bless you on that one Tim. BTW – all those who criticize him for thanking Jesus when he wins do not understand the context under which this is stated. It is not a specific thank you for winning. It is a thank you that I was able to perform well. What many do not realize is that after many NFL and College games, Christian players from both sides will often meet at midfield after the game and pray. I think this is pretty cool and I hardly ever go to church.

Of course the flip side is, if Tebow went to Bama, we would have had Cam Newton.

Exactlly, he’s thanking God for the physical gifts that God has bestowed upon him. And by thanking God, he’s using these God given gifts to glorify God; can’t understand how this is a bad thing.

I’m now a Broncos fan.
