lol! you people don't seem to realize the point of our posts to you. They aren't for you. We know where you stand. We are under no illusion that there will be some kind of group salvation epiphany by your side, and that there will be a mass exodus from your church. It's not about you. It's about individual people searching for the truth. Caught up in a religious system that provides no answers from God's Word, only dictates from a system of works for salvation. Why do you think we quote Scripture so often? It's so people reading that Scripture can see what God's Word says as opposed to what your church teaches. Our Scripture is almost always followed up by you all with doctrines and writings from your church. Very rarely with Scripture. And when it IS given, it is so twisted and tortured for RCC "defense", that it is unrecognizable.

We cannot know how many people are awakened by the Truth. But we can know that they are at least provided with the Truth. It is then up to them to accept or reject it. There is a way out. And the Big Flock gangs who attempt to elbow their way around or heap ridicule or scorn on those who honestly are searching, need to be shown for exactly what they are. We do nothing but shine the light into the darkness. The way you handle that light is up to you. But others DO notice.

Did you hear that? It sounded like someone might have been saying something...something foul.

Maybe it was just a fart.

Unless I misunderstand, you are using your interlocutors as unwitting actors in a dishonest act of communication.

You are not really communicating with them, you are using them as foils, pretending to discuss but actually playing to the lurkers — in order to “win some.”

I recently read another ‘conversion story’ from the book “Chosen.” In it, a young lady caught in the middle asked her Baptist pastor (didn’t say what kind) why he said thus and so about the Catholic Church when to every appearance this and that was the case.

He conceded that this and that was the case but it was so important to keep people away from Rome that dissembling was justified. Thus he provided a great impetus in the direction of ‘Rome’.

So now you laugh, “lol!” because you are serving Him who is the Truth of God by creating a false impression and preaching Him who was among us as one who served by manipulating others.

I don’t think that’s the sort of thing Jesus would want us to do.

Thank you for saying that, smvoice. I know that is my motivation as well. I pray every day for those who read these threads for God to open their eyes to the truth so they may be saved. Our words are not to try to “steal” members away from some religion, but to preach the gospel, in season and out of season. I don't always succeed, but I try very hard to do it with love. Nothing is impossible with God, even dyed-in-the-wool Saul - who persecuted the believers in Christ - had his heart and soul touched by the truth of God and he became one of the strongest witnesses for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
