Get a Masonic (Mason) Bible, and then compare it with the John Smith versin of the Bible. Then ask the next question, e.g., why are Mormans not allowed to even research Masonic teachings. John Smith’s snake oil was taking another Bible, e.g., the Masoinc Bible and reprinting it complete with pictures.... (the Mason’s do not contend that their Bible replaces your everyday Bible, by the way).

Why would I use a Bible from one cult to check on another cult? I have spoken to and listened to many who have been in the upper ranks of the Masonic Lodge who have come to know Jesus as their Lord and have come out against the beliefs and practices of the Masonic Lodge.
I own a K.J.V. "Masonic Bible", if you can show me where the text deviates from the K.J.V. Bible, I will throw it away.
Admittedly, I haven't read it very much, it is much too big to be practical. By the way, Free Masonery doesn't claim to be a religion either. J. Smith was a Mason briefly and was kicked out for wanting to make it a religion and then he stole those rites that are symbolic for Masons and incorporated them into Mormonism.

That is silly. What makes any Bible a "Masonic Bible" is whether it is used by the Masons in their rituals. For example, the George Washington Inauguration Bible is a "Masonic Bible" that is the 1767 King James Version. Instead of using lame "guilt by association" techniques to color your argument, just name the English translation that you are referring to, and then tell us why that translation should matter when we have codex in the original language that we can easily consult.
