Well, I pretty much put my theology first. However, I may not be of, the world, but I am dang sure in it. So, I am not going to get perfection. Look. I'm a Southern Baptist. So were Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Theologically, at least at one time, I thought Jimmy and I were pretty close. I had matured some by the time Slick Willy came along. But the point is, I voted for neither of them. And in the case of Bill, I voted specifically against him, as I was not all that fond of his opponents. But their theology wasn't the important part. The important part was how were they going to govern. And it was easy to tell with both that they were not going to govern in a way that I, and I think God, would approve. Being theologically correct is a good point, but far from the only one. The demons also believe, and tremble. Far better to have someone who is mistaken, but is also willing to let you find Truth, if you can, in your own way, rather than his; in other words a true conservative, a classical liberal; than have either a pragmatist who is willing to barter you freedom to solve someone else's problem, or a true-believing socialist or Islamist, who doesn't believe you have the right to your own opinion anyway. Can I write a run-on sentence, or what?
