Christ said TIME would be shortened. This 7 year trib business is part of the Apostasy. This ‘time’ is likened to a woman in travail... labor, and Labor pains do not take 7 years. Everything Christ said that would take place in Matt 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, the seal, trumps, and vials of Revelation, will happen in quick time, days/months not years.

Sorry, not buying.
Seven years is seven years and that's how long the Tribulation will last.
Jesus will shorten the length of the days to save lives, but the Tribulation itself will last for seven years.
