Nana Post # 762:If we want to be good Christians,
_____________________________________

Whats the requirements to be a “good Christian ???

Why do “we” need to be a “good Christian ???

Why would we desire to be a “good Christian” ???

How will it benefit “us: to be a Good Christian” ???

Whats God got to do with “good Christians” ???

dila: Post # 77: You should go to the Last Supper and read what Jesus said, he explains it so well.
_____________________________________________

Kid I think I suggested a couple of days ago that you read the Bible for yourself and not just post cut and paste that someone off site feeds you and that you dont read yourself but expect us too...

FAIR/FARMS is not going to do you any good...

Read the Bible...

Lets look at what you said...

You speak of Christians and then you mention the Last Supper...

Kid there were no Christians at the last supper...

Jesus didnt tell anyone how to be a good Christian at the last supper...

He was warning His disciples who were alive at that time...

After the LORD Jesus Christ shed His Blood on the Cross and died on the Cross, and rose from the dead, and had walked around Jerusalem for 40 days and was about to depart to go back to Heaven...

then He gave His disciples and us the Great Commission...and told us how to recognize those who believed in Him...

And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:17, 18

I do hope you do all those things in the lovely name of Jesus

In the Book of Acts we read that when the disciples went around doing those things, people called them Christians, but YEARS after the LORD Jesus had that Last Supper with His disciples...

and Jesus never called them Christians...

He called them and us believers...

The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. Acts 11L26

dila you should read the Bible fdor yourself...

Youre embarassing ypurself telling Christians in these threads who have read and studied the Bible for decades that they dont know what they are reading anhd posting..

As you sound and appear to be a beginner, you might want to start in the Book of John...In the beginning ...

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

Im just helping you out here kid...

You dont have to kiss my feet...

The entire Last Supper won’t fit in a reply and would require it’s own thread. There are many fine ones on FreeRepublic for you to visit.

So I leave you this:

John 5:19
Then answered Jesus and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also does the Son likewise.
