Confiteor unum baptisma in remissionem peccatorum. Et expecto resurrectionem mortuorum, et vitam venturi saeculi. Amen. |
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, |
Here's one error of your creed...
Of course Jesus is the Lord...But the Holy Spirit and God the Father are the Lord as well...A little scripture research will reveal that to any bible student...
the only Son of God,
Here's another error in your creed...There are many sons of God...Jesus is the only BEGOTTON son of God...
One right after another...
eternally begotten of the Father,
Act 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
Was Jesus the Son of God in Genesis??? When was Jesus begotton??? Eternally begotten??? Will Christians worship God in heaven or Jesus, the Son???
And of course this one...
We believe in One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
There were no Catholics hanging around with Jesus...Of course you can believe anything you want...Your Nicene creed however is too unbiblical for me...Most everything in your creed is unbiblical...I'll stick with a biblical creed...
