As someone who is a traditional fundamentalist, let me offer an explanation as to why you don't see many of us. To me, the most interesting threads are those where iron is sharpening iron and we're hashing out what it is, exactly, that we believe and, more importantly, why we believe it.
This thread, on the other hand, isn't so much iron sharpening iron as it is Catholics and Protestants doing what Catholics and Protestants do best with each other; they're arguing. This will never be solved until Christ Himself sets it right, so there's nothing to contribute here for those like me.
Are you a Fundamentalist Protestant or a Traditional Catholic?
I like the way you explain that. I agree and I am truly edified when one is sincerely seeking my beliefs and wants to share theirs.
Yes, this thread is nothing more than what I called it, mud wrestling. Though, I am so grateful for those Catholics here who are willing to stand firm and express the faith without fear.
There is a reason why Catholic and Protestants have been arguing for about 600 years. If one cannot understand the difference, then they really don't have a handle on their faith nor will they sharpen anything.
Are you aware of exactly what it was that started the downhill trend on this thread?
It wasn’t Protestants coming on it and trashing it, I can tell you that much.
