To me, the most interesting threads are those where iron is sharpening iron and we're hashing out what it is, exactly, that we believe and, more importantly, why we believe it. This thread, on the other hand, isn't so much iron sharpening iron as it is Catholics and Protestants doing what Catholics and Protestants do best with each other; they're arguing.

There is a reason why Catholic and Protestants have been arguing for about 600 years. If one cannot understand the difference, then they really don't have a handle on their faith nor will they sharpen anything.

I never said I couldn't understand why the two sides were at each others throats, I said that nothing we do will keep this from happening so why bother getting into an argument? If I honestly thought that I could talk to someone from either side without the dogma blinders coming down, I might do so but that's not going to be possible with most of the people in this thread, on both sides.
