This prophecy was given by a 90 yr. old woman in Norway 42 years ago about events leading up to the second coming of Christ. An Evangelist by the name of Emanuel Minos wrote this prophecy down in 1968 and thought it was so extreme that he put it away. He recently reviewed the prophecy and was amazed that it is not "extreme" anymore--but the norm in our society. Read the prophecy below.
This sounds like an evangelical version of a letter to Penthouse.
Maybe because the state of mind at the time. I predicted 9/11 in early 1998. I was off my meds (sigh) and for about a two week period of time I was writing down every weird thing that was coming to my mind. I folded the papers up a page or two at a time and sealed them in envelopes. Then I tossed them in a box.
All I had wanted to do was save them until a later date, because I assumed I would eventually get better, and then I could read them again and could put myself back in that place or frame of mind.
About six months later, I decided to open the envelopes and see what I had written down. A lot of gibberish, I guess you could say and a lot of stuff that absolutely doesn’t make any sense about anything. By the time I had opened all the envelopes, I must have had about 70 to 80 pages of material. I took the pages, put them in a ziplock bag and then into an old empty suitcase. Out of sight. Out of mind. To this day I am the only person who read any of the papers.
After 9/11 happened, over 3 years later, I went and reread the papers, because I thought I remembered I had something about that written in them.
To my surprise I saw I had drawn two squares with X’s through them with “WTC” written underneath that. Anyway, there were about 6 or 7 lines that I remember could be construed to refer to the tragedy. I wrote “clear the floor” and “new weapon” but I don’t remember the rest off the top of my head. Just saying.
I later ran across an unopened envelope that hadn’t been with the rest that I had saved but opened. It remains unopened to this day and I couldn’t put my hands on it right now without some extensive searching.
Curiosity kills the cat and all that.
The 112th prophesy states: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End." The last pope may just cut Catholics loose from unity and the papacy, causing total disruption and confusion.
You then post a photo of Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson of Ghana, accompanied by a link to a DailyMail article from 2009.
I am confused. Perhaps you can clarify what it is that you are trying to say. Are you aware that the Catholic Church has had 3 black popes?

Christians will not be open for penetrating preaching. They will not, like in earlier times, want to hear of sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and restoration. There will come a substitute instead: prosperity (happiness) Christianity.
This is a dead on description of the post-modern, emergent, seeker-sensitive, purpose driven churches that are dominating the evangelical community with false teachers like Rick Warren and Joel Osteen with his Word of Faith heresy.
Heard of this before fromn some European Lutherans.
Not sure what to think.
This happen on New Year's Eve Day night going into 2009 year from 2008 year. The end of this dream was Obama in a field with a handful of secret service standing next to the presidential limo. It was green grass field. The grass was well cut not long with trees behind him. It is an open field. He looks up then meets my eyes at me then I look up and the sky is filled with an invading army parachuting above us coming to the ground. The army is in green army camouflage not desert camouflage. They all looked light skin not dark. But before they landed I woke up. This happen after the the lights went out at about a 8:00est. So I put lighted candles up. I stayed up till 1040 then went to bed. The electric lights never came back on till later. This is right before Obama was sworn in as president in the new January. So I went to bed early with the candle burning in my bedroom. When the dream ended. It was so profound I woke up right away to candle light. Then suddenly the power came back on with the lights like to accent this was an important dream. Just uncanny! Everything up to the field show the former america is gone in industrial might. I was in a old rusted model T watching the parade for Obama then turning into fighting among the paraders. Hitting each other with the Obama signs.
I know this might sound crazy! I could not really see the faces clearly but I woke up before real clearity came into view. Not that this is in the dream but a reason for what I thought I believe because Obama is viewed as weak by the world. I think China and Russia will knock America out of the world power business. They are doing joint operations together all the time. If we are out of the way they can divide the world to there own end. Also the Chinese have so many people they are so arrogant from what I read they hate there population. I know I sound movie ish but I know my personal ( about friends or family)visions came true. One to the exact broadcast of a drive by shooting several months before it happen. Same channel 12 in long island NY. Same town reported. Same female broadcaster. Same person(a friend's daughter as the victim). How can that not be God if comes exactly true. All these dreams are after a Divine Mercy Chaplet Prayer. That was heavy prayer for her soul.
I feel I have to remind people. So when this happened of all nights for a New Years eve night(2008/2009) before a new president getting in office. Then accented when I woke up. Too much of a coincide .
Sounds like she watched some American movies or read tracts; common themes.
LOL
I'll try to summarize the prophecy and my thoughts on who the final Pope could be.
Saint Malachy, was the 12th‑century bishop of Armagh in Ireland, (now part of Northern Ireland). According to the traditional account, in 1139, Malachy was summoned to Rome by Pope Innocent II. While in Rome, Malachy purportedly experienced a vision of future popes, which he recorded as a sequence of cryptic phrases. This manuscript was then deposited in the Roman Archive, and thereafter forgotten about until its rediscovery in 1590.
The interpretation of these cryptic phrases (mottos) has generally relied on finding correspondences between the mottos and the popes' birthplaces, their personal arms, and the events of their pontificates. For example, the first motto, Ex castro Tiberis (From a castle on the Tiber), fits Pope Celestine II's birthplace in Città di Castello, on the Tiber.
The final motto is: Peter the Roman
Who will nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the fearsome Judge will judge His people. The End.
My thoughts on why Cardinal Turkson is a good candidate: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2490481/posts?page=15#15
INTERESTING.

In one of your earlier links, however, it clearly states:
The problem with the prophecies as listed in The Prophecies of St. Malachy, published by the Thomas A. Nelson, a Catholic Publishing House, is that Malachy's original works listed only 111 Popes, not 112, as given in the TAN version of the prophecies. Sometime between the first and subsequent printings the 112th, Petrus Romanus, was added to Malachy's prophecy. It was added after the 1820 publication of the prophecies.
That additional bit of information tends to squelch your papabile nomination, does it not?
The one assurance we Catholics have is the promise made by our Lord to St. Peter: "And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age", is fulfilled again (Matthew 28:20).

Thanks for posting this. As Spok would say, “Fascinating.”
Food for though... :)
“I wonder if there is any documentation that proves the prophecy was actually given in 1968.”
My thought also. Any one of us could write down events from the past few decades and then build a tale around it.
"The prophecy was first published in 1595 by Arnold de Wyon, a Benedictine historian, as part of his book "Lignum Vitæ" (Tree of Life). However, in the 1820 printed version of Malachy's prophesies, Lignum Vitæ , a 112th pope appears that was not in Malachy's original manuscript. The 112th pope was added by the Olivetan monks. The Order of St. Benedict claims this final pope will come within the Benedictine Order, and that he was placed in the secession line because St. Benedict himself prophesied that before the end of the world, his Order will triumphantly lead the Catholic Church in its battle against evil (the Battle of Armageddon)."
One could spend a good number of rainy days researching.
I was cautioned about this when I asked about finding a church before I moved to NC.
I was told to look for a church where the music only came from the voices of those in the church and not from musical instruments or recordings.
Most of the those I ask about why they attend their church first say for the music and second for the sermon.
Not having been raised in a faith, it can be confusing...
