“There doesnt seen to be another way to stop the natural drifting of religious homosexuals and deviants to the priest pool except by totally banning them 100% even on mere suspicion, and that would leave almost no applicants as things stand”
I don’t think that’s true, because conservative areas report a large number of vocations. Perhaps normal men avoid the seminaries because the sodomites infest them, but will return once the situation is cleaned up.
You were right in your long-held opinion that celibacy is important. We don’t have to give that up to get the sodomites out of the priesthood. That can only be accomplished by banning them from the seminaries and throwing them out of the priesthood.
It doesn’t have to be done on mere suspicion. Men who suffer from same-sex attraction disorder cannot stop themselves from acting out, sooner or later.
The Holy Father has already moved in the direction of removing sodomites from the priesthood. Perhaps not as rapidly or dramatically as you or I might wish, but I’m willing to accept that he is wiser than I.
I hope you read post 64 again, I don’t think the labor shortage is being fixed or can be, and as far as waiting for a man to “act out”, by then that man will already be a priest, inside the system, and destroying young souls.
