I hope you read post 64 again, I don’t think the labor shortage is being fixed or can be, and as far as waiting for a man to “act out”, by then that man will already be a priest, inside the system, and destroying young souls.
Looking at post 64, I see some very incorrect information.
There is not, nor has there been, a “pedophile scandal.” The problems were almost monolithically with common, garden-variety homosexuals. The number of offenses against pre-pubesent children has been miniscule.
If a person hasn’t been paying enough attention to know that fundamental fact, I have to wonder what their opinion could be worth.
As a Catholic, you refer to the falloff in vocations as a “labor shortage?” How odd.
Vocations are already on the upswing in conservative dioceses, and have been for some time. As the Vat II generation priests pass, they will be replaced by a new generation of young priests committed to undoing the depredations of those enemies of the Church. Just doing away with altar girls would produce a double-digit surge in vocations, and ridding the seminaries of sodomites would do even more.
The Church is not dead, nor, despite Satan’s best efforts, is it dying.
“as far as waiting for a man to act out, by then that man will already be a priest, inside the system, and destroying young souls.”
Pre-admission screening and a teaspoon of vigilance in the seminaries should head that off at the pass.
