The Vatican’s Gay Priests
Newsweek ^ | July 27, 2010 | Barbie Nadeau

Posted on 07/09/2011 11:27:26 AM PDT by armydoc

For residents of Rome, the sight of courting priests is hardly an anomaly. But a recent exposé is rocking the Catholic Church.

In the basement dining room of Le Mani In Pasta, a trattoria in central Rome, a young, glossy-eyed couple stare at each other across a table for two. They smile and blush over a private joke. There is no handholding or kissing, but they are clearly more than friends, even though they are both wearing dark shirts and the telltale white clerical collar.

In gratitude to Cronos for his tireless exposure of apostasy and sin in the PCUSA and other liberal protestant denominations, doubtless motivated only by Christian love, I humbly return the favor with a shocking expose of pervert priests in the Pope's back yard. Love ya, Bro! (in the Christian brotherly sort of way, not the "Vatican Priest" sort of way!)

the difference of course is in one case we have official doctrine of a church changing and the other we have sinful, hypocritical conduct that if discovered would be punished by the church.

For my part, I’m appalled that anyone would want to drag the name of Christ thru the mud - Catholic or Protestant. The non-Christians I meet don’t distinguish between Presbyterian, Catholic or Baptist - they just call ALL Christians hypocrites.

There has always been evil people pretending to be Christians in the church, and always will. But I’d like to ask both sides of the dueling “Who has the worst people” conflict to ask themselves, “Does this advance the cause of Jesus Christ in a fallen world?”

But requirements like those are impossible to enforce, and they are plainly ignored. In Rome’s medieval quarter of Trastevere not far from Le Mani In Pasta, the International Ecclesiastic Seminary attracts men from all over the world who want to study for the priesthood in the heart of Rome. A professor there, speaking on the condition of anonymity to protect his job, says the vast majority of the young men who come to study are sexually active gay men who quickly become part of the lively gay culture in Rome. Not all the priests are gay or practicing, he concedes, but in recent years he says he has noticed that most new students are young men with a certain sexual slant, and he fears that the institution has a reputation for attracting only gay seminarians.

And how many of these queer recruits were coached as altar boys by other queer priests??? What a creepy organization...

Why the heck is Newsweek talking about homosexual priests now?

During the priest molestation crisis, the MSM avoided mentioning that most of such cases were homosexual priests committing homosexual molestation on boys and young men. The MSM always reported that crisis as a “child abuse” crisis, never mentioning that most victims were male.

And that crisis generated discussion of issues such as why priests can’t marry. The distinct impression left was that priests were abusing girls and young women, and that they were doing it because they had no sexual “outlet” so to speak, since they aren’t allowed to get married.

The MSM coverage of the priest scandal certainly lowered my opinion of them, due to their obvious selective reporting of facts. My guess is that they didn’t want to report anything which would reflect badly on the homosexual community. So they tried to leave an impression that lustful priests with no female partners abused girls.

So why should we listen to what they have to say about homosexual priests now? This is likely a distorted report.

conduct that if discovered would be punished by the church.

But the church is not moving to rid the church of these perverts to the pace of those coming in who are sodomites. And why are they being allowed to practice this behavior in full view of the audiance without being taken out of the ministry then and there?...

It's beyond understanding how the leadership is dragging it's feet on getting this infestation out of the church, when they have the power to do just that!!!

No way would I have a kid even attend a Catholic function now...the risk is just to great.

Just another article in the continuing effort to destroy all religions.

Homosexuals are a part of that efort. Same sex marriage another part.

Destroy religion and install Socialism.

Atheists are working hard for the same cause.

The New World Order does not want religion.

Uh???? It doesn't tak a great deal of thought to recognize the homosexual and pedifile issues within the church are hurting the entire Christian community. Which is why even those who are not Catholic are crying out against the VAtican for not taking care of the problem with the force and power it's been given by Christ to do!

The fact they are not doing so...but dragging their feet, excusing and tiptoeing still around these issues lends one to wonder of the condition of the Vatican itself...since it is the leadership.

Talk is sooo cheap in this case that it gets infuriating, all the changed requirements have their place...but the fox remains in the henhouse. Generally one goe after the fox...then determines how to keep it out from then after.

But what the Vatican is doing is just writing and speaking and no quick action whatsoever that has either defussed this nor discouraged this...rather because they have not these sodomites and perverts are dancing in the street in full view of the audiance....beyond shameful!

Homosexual priests are of no real concern—it’s the pederasts among them that must be exterminated.

No doubt that the priesthood by the growth of the homosexual community in wealth and status. It is part and parcel l of modern paganism, the return of the gods under new forms. It has been with us since the time of Moses, that the people stray from the path the Lord has revealed to us. Because the people rebelled, the Levites were eleevated among them. But even that select strayed. The Prophets were sent to correct them all, but were badly treated for their trouble, and there were, of course, false prophets. Narrow is the way, says the Lord.
