What a bunch of self-centered, whining navel gazing. This guy is not suited to be a minister, and him being gay is near the bottom of the list of reasons why. I have never heard a minister whine like this before. Did some people make nasty comments and jokes about him being gay? Yes. Is that right? No. But if this fool can't deal with church members confronting him openly about their view that homosexuality is a sin, then he needs to find a new profession. This is “gay entitlement” writ large. A gay man living with a partner and kids comes to a small Southern town and expects to be welcomed with open arms. He gets some nasty comments and resistance and they runs away crying about how “nasty” and “vicious” everyone is. What a baby.

His whinging over slights is hilarious! What a coward. I’d like to see what would happen if we dropped a soapbox preacher into the Castro section of San Francisco. He’d probably be lynched.

Typical sodomite narcisism. BTW, the comments at Salon show how violently the sodomites hate Christians and the Bible.

Yeah, but we can expect plenty of these same babies to bother suing us in the years to come, because they feel that they’re entitled to us. This isn’t just a gay problem, it’s a problem spanning all over America, people feel that they’re so entitled to staying members of a church, staying as such noble leaders, etc. But when it comes to having to face the kind of hardships that come with being a newbie, people walk away and go, “mom, he refused me”, or “mom, he said something I don’t like” kind of mantra. That of all things disgusts me heavily. The funny thing about comparisons to the Civil Rights groups is that while some people perservered at the serious threat to themselves, or even their children, numerous people nowadays take even less pressure just to quit and whine.
