Start with the fact that everyone who reads the Bible interprets it a bit differently.

Then move on to the fact that we have so many, different, Christian denominations.

Why, if the meaning is so darn clear?

Then, ask yourself where the Bible EVER refers to the “Bible” -— it does not because it can’t, as no human who wrote the original words, in any Book, ever foresaw that Book being combined with OTHER Books, in any such fashion as the “Bible”.

The Bible is a tool.

The Bible is NOT an Idol to be worshiped.

"Start with the fact that everyone who reads the Bible interprets it a bit differently"

We are talking about inerrancy and not interpretation.

You can believe the Bible is inerrant and still have a different interpretation. You claim that the Bible is not inerrant, partly due to the fact that is was written by different men over the course of thousands of years.

So my question remains: How do you determine which parts of the Bible are truthful or inerrant and which are not? How do you know the resurrection was true or the parting of the Red Sea or walking on water, since all these accounts were written by men?
