Strange, but nice-strange. Discussed on Fox’s Journal Report this afternoon was the Supremes’ decision on video games (freedom of speech won 5-4). The older female member of the panel (can’t remember the name at the moment) came out violently anti-decision but later nearly agreed that the problem of spreading barbarism and lewdity lay with the culture, not with the Court and the Constitution. Yet—I wonder what the “culture” would be if the Courts hadn’t already weighed in when and as they have.

Many of our government and church leaders are embracing the “new moral and cultural values.” This unholy alliance is attempting to label those of us who resist as homophobes, old-fashioned, etc. I wish to stand on a stump and yell, “No. I grieve for my friends entrapped in a miserable, unhealthy way of life that was never God's plan. Homosexuals are His beloved children, too, and I want to encourage them to live life to its full potential, in health and joy, not disease and depression. I will not embrace the subculture of homosexuality. It's time to stand and fight.
I don’t have to. A quick look at the statistics regarding health & homosexuality tells me all that I need to know... Their values are simply not my values, and their “values” aren’t even good for them either.
