Rent/watch ‘The Rite” (which came out in the theaters early this year) with Anthony Hopkins. I had no clue how the movie was made by hellywood but it was as pro-God as it gets, just like The Book of Eli. Not true. It's not his name that cast him out - it's the power of God - he has to get out when spoken by one who has the power and authority.

Acts 19 [One day] the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?"

Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

Demon spirits know the spirit that is within you - so only those with the Holy Spirit within can cast the evil spirit out - doesn't matter what his name is.

Though a good movie, for a better, and more accurate, understanding of exorcisms I'd suggest getting/reading the book.

yes, it's a good movie.

Fr. Lucas, the Jesuit exorcist is played excellently by Anthony Hopkins. When you need an exorcist, a lay person or a cleric can both drive out demons in the name of Christ, yet we read of St. Justin Martyr in his Second Apology written in the 1st/2nd century

Origen describes the exorcist laying hands on the possesed as does St. Ambrose and they mention that the simple sign of the Cross with the calling on the name of Christ has incredible power against the demons who cannot bear it
