The Pauline epistles presents itself as a "formulary" of prayers and a prayer pattern for today's Christian believer-saint who believes in the finished work of Christ on His day of the cross and resurrection and victory over death.

The Pauline epistles presents itself as a "formulary" of prayers, a prayer pattern concerning for the mystery of God in grace today, the mystery of binding together of the Jew and Gentile in grace. The mastery of Paul's prayers are outlined in his 13 epistles for biblical prayer life that the people of God: believers in Christ may address God and relate to Him directly via the Holy Spirit interceding for our prayers (Romans 8:28 …but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered).

Paul teaches us how to speak to God directly about our son-ship standing with the Father, and how to express ourselves as believer-sons of God, and how to ask of God directly about how to grow in our sonship maturity; and it is God himself that has given us this prayer pattern for today's sons of God (Romans 8:14-15)

The Psalms are an excellent source of truth on how David prayer pattern was organized; and the book of Psalms are great to learn by, but not for today's prayer pattern for the church today; unless you are practicing a Jewish Rabbinical church pattern. David was a Rabbinical Jew and his prayers were Jewish, not Gentile.

In fact, David's Psalms are divided into 5 Jewish Davidic Mandates:

• Redeemer
• Deliverer
• Avenger
• King
• Blesser

Christ first Davidic Mandate which He fulfilled thus far was the Redeemer mandate. This was accomplished at the cross.

The remaining Jewish Davidic Mandates are to be fulfilled FOR ISRAEL:

• Deliverer
• Avenger
• King
• Blesser

All of David's prayers have close affinity with each of these Davidic Jewish Mandates. Therefore, since we are not Jews primarily in the church today, we should not usurp the Jewish Davidic Mandate prayers; which are addressed specifically to Jews.

Our prayer pattern to follow today are contained in the Pauline epistles.

The Apostle Paul writes:

1 Cor 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

This is Bible Scripture truth shows that we are to follow Paul and his doctrines and prayer pattern which Christ himself GAVE TO Paul for us to follow. And as we follow Paul's doctrines and prayers, we then are followers of Christ in His glorified resurrected position in heaven; for our blessing are in the heavenly places.
