These are *Cosmic Events* Solar and Lunar Eclipses, and what will cause a *Great Earthquake* IMO Comet Elenin in our solar system...
Often used in the Old Testament context as a metaphor for great political changes, empires falling, that sort of thing. Not, I know, how a lot of people are wont to interpret John's Apocalypse. Fact, none the less.

The return of CHrist will be a Divine Cosmic experience, not a human physical one.....
The Star of Bethlehem was not a metaphor, it was an actual cosmic event....When Jesus asended to the Father, it was not a metaphor, he went up in a cloud that hid him and this was seen by his diciples.....
Signs and Seasons are not metpahors, they were used as a *Harvesting* and biblical holy days in the OT....

What so many people don't understand is that sometimes physical happenings are simply physical happenings, and not a cosmic conspiracy. So many people have never grown up and never shed the infantile egocentrism that we are all born with. They think that everything that happens is all about them.

GOD gave us the gift of prophecy, which you like to twist into *Fortune Telling* The Book of Daniel, the Book of Revelation and the entire bible is based on the promised Messiah, his coming, his ministry, his death and resurrection and his return to this earth.....
How are you any different than those who stood outside the Ark and laughed and scoffed at Noah? afterall it never had rained on the earth, so I assume they must of thought NOah was out of his mind when he built the ark...In fact I am sure Noah and his family also had some second thoughts when they closed the door to the ark and had to wait 7 days before the rain started. I am sure they questioned themselves or maybe had become doubtful or weary...
Do I know for a fact Comet Elenin is the return of Jesus Christ....NO...However GOD told us to test everything and look for things that might be true or deceptive, just as I never fell for Al Gore’s Glo-bull Warming, becuae I already knew what Jesus said about the *Latter Days* and the weather conditions on earth..
Jesus return to this earth is not based upon him showing up in Jerusalem, driving a hybrid with an announcement of saying *Hey guys I’m here! It is going to be a super-natural divine cosmic event.
