My priest says a very reverent and holy Novus Ordo Mass. You can’t slam all of them.

BTW, read today’s Gospel. Is there a wooden beam in your eye about the Novus Ordo Mass?

Thanks for the Gospel reading. Yes, I am three score and ten and have found (after 13 years of attending NO) that I do well attending the Usus Antiquor only. That may be judgmental — I like to call it “discerning”. You write that you recognize a reverent and holy mass when it is celebrated by a reverent and holy priest. I may be a hypocrit, but I too recognize holiness and reverence. My priest was exceptional (a Jesuit no less) but he is retired. We keep in touch via mail. He keeps me halfway sane. You are right — not every NO is a liturgical nightmare — in my experience, most are.

PAX ET BONUM to you.
