Cardinal George was not Pfleger’s Bishop 20 years ago. Sadly, that was Cardinal Bernadin, author of the “Seamless Garment” nonsense. Bernadin is why Fr. Pfleger was allowed to become so full of himself, and why Cardinal George has the problem today.

Cardinal George was appointed in 1997. That means that he has has 14 years of dealing with the clown. Cardinal George was the one that told him not to adopt the children etc...

You can't blame Bernadin for actions after his death. Cardinal George has had numerous opportunities and sufficient cause to send this heretic packing.

I like Cardinal George and admire him but in this area he has really missed the boat.
