There are in the Apocrypha. I'll bet Martin Luther was a cat-hater, and THAT's why he didn't like those books. Searching biblegateway on 'cat' brings up way too many references to cattle, but I did find this one:

I don't know what provision God has made for my many beloved pets, but I'm sure He made some - they weren't supposed to die at all. I hope to see them again, but have no certainty.
