Protestants put Obama in office. Evidently you could care less about that.

12 million more Protestants voted for Obama than did Catholics.

LOl, you are right that there are more Protestants in this great nation that they founded, and naturally a minority of them vote democrat, but you cannot seem to get interested in examining what it is about Catholic teachings that leads the majority of Catholics to vote for the pro abortion, democrat party.

With all the new Mexican voters coming to America this is especially a concern to those of us that are conservative, we cannot help but wonder what makes Catholic Hispanics start voting Republican when they leave the Catholic church and become Protestants.

We can reach these vast numbers of Hispanics and turn them into pro-life conservative voters, we need to look at that.

For, on the contrary, the Catholic Church has reiterated throughout her history that it is wrong for the Church, the State, or an individual to coerce belief in the Catholic faith. Here is just one example: "And, in fact, the Church is wont to take earnest heed that no one shall be forced to embrace the Catholic faith against his will, for, as St. Augustine wisely reminds us, 'Man cannot believe otherwise than of his own will.'"

True, though sometimes ignored in practice, as when Jews were given the choice of conversion or death.

However, for many centuries the Church proclaimed its duty to use physical, even lethal, force to ensure those who had once embraced the faith remained in it.

There is no Church teaching that says this.

There are people did things in the name of the Church who did not follow what the Church(The Body Of Christ) teaches dogmatically. That goes for the people who decided to leave the faith as well

The break of unity in the Church causes disruption of man

There is no Catholic teaching which “leads the majority of Catholics to vote for the pro abortion, democrat party.” The Catholic Church ONLY teaches what is pro-life.

“With all the new Mexican voters coming to America this is especially a concern to those of us that are conservative, we cannot help but wonder what makes Catholic Hispanics start voting Republican when they leave the Catholic church and become Protestants.”

You really seem desperate to avoid those 12,000,000 more Protestants who voted for Obama.

“We can reach these vast numbers of Hispanics and turn them into pro-life conservative voters, we need to look at that.”

Protestants are not pro-life.

There is no Church teaching that says this.

The Church did more than teach it.

The Church established permanent institutions to enforce uniformity of faith and belief, using torture when "necessary." You may have heard of the Inquisition.

There is no DOGMATIC Church teaching that ever said to kill anyone for leaving the Church

Whatever people do outside of Church teaching is not attached to the Church,be it a Pope ,Bishop lay person etc..
