"Mr Moore said: 'We've lost something of our soul here in this country, and maybe I'm an old-school American, who believes in the American justice system, something that separates us from other countries. 'We say everybody has their day in court, no matter what sort of person, no matter what piece of scum they are."

Should I question the Priest to clarify what in the heck he truly meant by that comment?
Comments?
With all due respect Mr. Moore, but if we truly had justice in America, Bill Clinton would be doing hard time right now.
Your story reinforces in me that I am on the right path. My Pastor today said a prayer thanking God for the safety of the SEALS that carried out the mission and for His Grace in making their aim true.
Maybe Fat Mikey should realize that OBL was not subject to the US judicial system, and therefore, not entitled to the protections it affords.
So when is Michael Moore's day in court for the trash he has put out as "documentary"
No fat boy, what seperates us from other countries is the ability of our military to dish out old fashioned justice deep behind enemy lines.
You should question him, I’ve done similar in regards to a deacon’s support of 0bama.
Fat-fool UnAmerican.
Yes, he should be informed that church is not the place to parade his personal politics.
I will never forget my godmother standing up and walking out during an anti Vietnam War homily. She told the priest that those attending were essentially a captive audience and forcing his his personal views during church was way out of place.
I myself have gotten up, genuflected and walked out once when a letter was read from the bishop apologizing for slavery. I have never owned not do I ever intend to own a slave so I need make no apology nor have any made for me.
Gospel not politics.
I agree, I’m glad Americans don’t look to Michael Moore for the definition of justice. Justice was done in Bin Laden’s case.
And God (of course) is honored during each and every Mass, and Mothers were honored today during Mass with flowers and applause. I understand completely the adherence to "pro-life" in all aspects of the Church, but I felt the Priest alienated many, if not all, in the congregation by not approaching his comment more delicately and should have focused on the justified removal of evil incarnate. I was very disappointed.
OBL signed his own death warrant when he admitted masterminding 9/11. Our SEALS gave him all the justice he deserved.
If that's all he said then you need to ask him why he said it.............
I didn’t “celebrate” the death of Osama Bin Laden just as I didn’t go out a CELEBRATE when Saddam Hussein was captured or later when he was executed.
The celebrations appear to have been coordinated. Campaign signs at the ready the moment the announcement came.
And America didn’t stage “flash mob” celebrations regarding Saddam. Bunch of astroturf activism, if you ask me.
But Mr. Moore is an American hating million dollar Marxist. He, as Ray Bradbury put it, a perfect a&&hole.
So is Michael Moore going to stage rallies pushing for war crimes charges against Barack Obama?
Didn’t think so.
Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
Unfortunately, there are far too many who don't understand this.
Even if you look at it in terms of U.S. law, the international laws of warfare are enacted via treaty, and signed and ratified treaties become part of U.S. law.
It is legal to attack and kill an enemy general in wartime. It is legal to attack and kill a war criminal in wartime.
We minimized collateral damage and deaths of civilians. This raid was an extreme exercise in legality. It should be praised.
This just in: Michael Moore believes in souls.
Moore:Obama did in two years what the other couldn’t do in 8.
F you and the horse that brought your fat @ss in here.
