It's sad how many evangelical Christians imitate the JWs on this point -- and how willing the buyers of such "left behind" books are to overlook the reams of prior false prophecies.

I was told by a witness that they interpret ‘generation’ to mean ‘era’ like saying “the industrial era.” Therefore this generation can be hundreds of years long.
