The reason Luther decided to truncate the Old Testament was not because he looked for the apostolic authority but because the Deuterocanon especially makes mincemeat of his fake theology.

Typical, willful ignorance on your part.

Luther simply followed the Jewish canon of the Old Testament as all Jews have known it—SINCE THE DAYS OF THE APOSTLES.

One would think that a religion would accept the list of holy books passed onto it by its mother religion—which is exactly what Protestants did—it is Rome that has ADDED junk BOOKS TO THE JEWISH CANON.

Judaism does not, and has never, accepted the Apocrypha—books written long before Jesus—as Holy Scripture. Why did Rome add them in?
