I would like prayer for my elderly mother. She's very ill and I'm not sure how long she has. She's bounced back before but, this time it's pretty bad. Long story short she had a bad fall, ended up with a head injury and broken wrist. She is just not getting better, losing weight, feels nauseated, won't eat, weak and down right miserable. The fall was 4 weeks ago. Tonight I talked to her and she said she had a burning in her chest. The doctor thinks it might have something to do with her aorta, which felt a bit enlarged. He was not completely sure. It could be indigestion. She's always had stomach problems, she says she's never felt like this before. Because of her age, 89, and her frailty they can't operate even if they needed to. She just keeps telling us she wants to die, she's tired and sick and just wants to go to be with the Lord.
Prayer bump
Just to let everyone know, my mother is better today. She wasn’t complaining about the burning in her chest. Thank you everyone for your prayers. Please continue to remember my mom when you pray, she isn’t out of the woods yet. Thank you all so much.
Thanks for the update. Prayers still going up!
God Bless you I am thrilled to hear the news. YES...HE CARES FOR YOU!!
:)
A sense of well being and joy, with the elderly, has a vitamin D3 sensitivity. You can’t hurt your Mom by giving her lots of it, and it may just help her regain that desire to live for the simple joys in life again. ... Prayers still going up.
Thank you guys so much. She was actually a bit chatty today. Which is always a good sign.
Your situation strikes me right in the heart. My mother is elderly as well, and she is my very best friend and the one constant in my life.
Dear FRiend: may the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who heals the sick and hears prayer grant to your beloved mother a complete and total healing, that she may live to see the days of Mashiach and the World to Come!
Moms are the best; prayers will continue.
:)
Well at least she’s feeling better and that burn in her chest is better. That is such a miserable feeling.
Very good to hear she is a bit more comfortable.
Continued prayers for your Dear Mother.
Prayers continue
Thanks for the update. Our Lord is so good in answering prayers. I pray that your Mother continues to rest comfortably. May any burden on your heart be lifted.
Yes it sure is. I haven’t called her today but, will in a bit. I’m in another state and I’ve been trying to figure out when the best time to go home will be. I was hoping she would get better and I’d be able to help her out at home. At this point I don’t know if she will ever regain enough strength to go back home. Which is sad cause she’s been asking to go back home.
Thank you!!!
Prayers continue for your dear Mom.
Thank you so much!!! In your prayers can you add my sister who will be her main caregiver. And also for my mom to have a sound mind also. Since she’s had the head injury she’ll talk to you normal, then suddenly say something that is totally untrue, like it’s real and completely believe it. Again thank you so much for your prayers, they are so appreciated.
I hope she’s able to go home. She’ll be so much more comfortable there. I think it’s hard on elderly folks to be anyplace but home...especially when they aren’t feeling well.
