Since the core of support for Israel (other then the support among Jews) is devout evangelicals, your assertion seems silly on its face.

It’s sometimes shocking how many people don’t get that. God doesn’t resort to “abrogation” (cf islam). He doesn’t replace one promise with another. His Word - IOW Him - is truth. All of it. Old, New, ALL of it. After all, if that weren’t true, He wouldn’t be God. Which incidentally is proof that “Allah” isn’t.
Some obviously have a very serious problem with Jewish people, seen and noted on other threads posted as well.... which IMO is why the need to post articles such as this. Not because of any phoney request for advice and suggestions on an issue which is one only in your thinking, it does so appear.
I completely doubt there was a wake up call at all, as stated, rather yet another attempt to put the Jewish people in an unfavorable light. Trying to hide motives generally makes them all the more apparent to the discerning.
You're exactly right, but the individual posting this article loves to get people riled by posting such garbage and then watch the fur fly. To say they're a troll is an understatement...instigator might better say...have seen this same tactic used on other threads for just that purpose. Using phoney and seceptive means to get their issue to the surface so they can hammer away...that's nasty business in my opinion.

Great observation and true...so easy to see why Jewishish baiters get their information there. I just wish they'd go to some other site to sell their wares....FR supports Israel from all I've seen..except for a certain group who like to post articles as this and then watch the show thereafter...
The guy just wants a platform to sell his wares to the uninformed....and yes it probably is the same guy as it's the same tactic commonly used.

This was an interesting zot in that the poster of troll piece actually tried to defend his posting. Usually they just post some piece of garbage and then don’t participate in the discussion at all.
I know there are some cases where a zot occurs in the context of the discussion (such as the famous pissant zot).
But in cases where the zot is earned by the original posting itself, it seems to me that usually the zotee posts his stupid screed and then sits back and says nothing, probably knowing in advance that a zot is on the way.
But this moron seemed to actually think he was contributing something worthwhile, and thus tried to defend it when people pointed out to him how ridiculous it was.
I guess that’s why they’re called morons.
