In my church, communion is not offered to those who are too young to understand the reason for the bread and wine. What kind of “rembrance of the blood shed for us” would be in that child’s mind? It looks really odd to see little babies reaching out...maybe he thinks it’s Cheerios???
That has got to be the most heart breaking photo I’ve seen in a while. To think those poor children are going to grow up in that cult and never know the real Jesus and his love for them.
I pray that God helps them escape.
