Featured Term (selected at random):
The Catholic equivalent of the divine commandment to keep the Sabbath holy. In general, Sunday observance means assisting at Mass and resting from servile work.
Missing Mass is one of those mortal sins that must be confessed.
(Went hunting, went to the beach, went on a weekend with the girls, boys, gotta watch the football game, etc.in other words, putting your desires above honoring God.)
I forgot about those people who have to work on Sundays, but can they get to the Vigil Mass on Saturday evening? Or a later Mass on Sunday?
