The problem is that some people believe that FR should be a tool on which mormons can proselytize and spread their false religion with no rebuttal. As to the "for many", you may not be paying attention to the increasing numbers of FReepers who post in agreement with our stance.
Mormonism is anti-Christianity. Everytime a member or missionary claims that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was removed from the earth and had to be "restored" by a known fraud and adulterer, they are demeaning Christianity.

My primary belief here is that the USA is in dire straits. Many people, both here and internationally, would love to see America become just another pimple on history's ass, rather than the bright shining City on the Hill.
I don't care if someone is Protestant, Catholic, Jew, Amish, Old Order River Brethren, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, Cau Dai, Agnostic, Athiest, Klingon or Romulan.
Their commitment to preserving this Republic is much more important to me than the name that they call their God.
When we end up fighting about religion, it is a huge waste of time and effort.
If we ALL don't combine to combat those well-armed forces that would destroy America, then we won't have to worry about being Baptists, Presbyterians, Mormons, Catholics, Jews... because the Islamists will take over and kills us all.
I would say your priorities are completely wrong....politics is nice and a worthy cause, but the eternal salvation of a person is much, much more important.
If you want to spend the rest of your days fighting the evils of liberalism - go right ahead. In the end, none of your efforts will matter in eternity. While I love America, I love people more and care enough about them to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them. When promoters of false religions appear on the Religion forum here, they better expect a spirtual batter. Your call for religious universalism is meaningless goal.

Zion refers to the mormon church. Do you prefer a mormon theocratic rule over that of Islam? I prefer neither. And, in case you haven't seen this information, the mormon church is quite friendly to Islam.
