Mormon youth, 12-18-year olds, are at least as mobile as any Milennial, and as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they now have access to a new iPhone app, LDS Youth, that allows them to view video messages from peers worldwide, access stories, thoughts, articles, and inspirational messages through their portable devices. With each amenity, is the share-feature, enabling youth to spread encouragement by phone among their peers and families.
This app comes in conjunction with a newly updated LDS/Mormon website, Youth.lds.org (Mormon is a nickname for members of the Saviors restored Church named in full above, that comes from a prophet by that name who lived anciently on this continent, abridging scriptures we are now privileged to have in our hands today).
Friends and youth of all faiths are welcome to visit the site, which contains statements of values, information regarding seminary instruction for youth (the objective of seminary, as mentioned on the site, is to help youth understand and rely on the teachings and Atonement of Jesus Christ, qualify for the blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven. All youth in the world can benefit from similar instruction. Please ask about this if you are interested and of another faith), pamphlets that guide youth in their daily interactions (dating, media consumption, friendships, commitments, etc.), and more.
There are venues for downloading free music, sharing faith witnesses through video or listening to others from around the world, places to ask an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ questions, and to learn doctrine, memorize scriptures and otherwise fortify oneself to walk in the world but not be of it.
We encourage all Mormon youth and friends of all faiths with youth 12-18 to visit the resources on this site and feel the Spirit of materials generated to address the specific needs of this growing generation whom we love and whom the Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, the 12 apostles who lead with him, and other leaders and parents also love greatly.
The mormon church is ramping up its campaign to be seen as "Christian" with emphasis in the article on the Savior.

So...
*ALLEDGEDLY; because outside of taking ONE MAN's word for it; there has been NOTHING found ANYWHERE on the North, Central or Southern American landscape to back up what he had claimed.
If a person WISHED hard enough they can convince themselves, but the doubts will sooner or later FORCE one to conclude that hooey has been propagated for almost 2 centuries now.
Please ask about this if you are interested and of another faith), pamphlets that guide youth in their daily interactions (dating, media consumption, friendships, commitments, etc.), and more.
"All of this should be conveyed without having priesthood leaders focus upon intimate matters which are a part of husband and wife relationships. Skillful interviewing and counseling can occur without discussion of clinical details by placing firm responsibility on individual members of the Church to put their lives in order before exercising the privilege of entering a house of the Lord. The First Presidency has interpreted oral sex as constituting an unnatural, impure, or unholy practice. If a person is engaged in a practice which troubles him enough to ask about it, he should discontinue it."
- Official Declaration of the First Presidency of the Church, January 5th, 1982
"Among the most common sexual sins our young people commit are necking and petting. Not only do these improper relations often lead to fornication, [unwed] pregnancy, and abortions - all ugly sins - but in and of themselves they are pernicious evils, and it is often difficult for youth to distinguish where one ends and another begins. They awaken lust and stir evil thoughts and sex desires. They are but parts of the whole family of related sins and indiscretions. Almost like twins, 'petting' and fornication are alike."
- Prophet Spencer W. Kimball, The Miracle of Forgiveness, page 65
"Also far-reaching is the effect of the loss of chastity. Once given or taken or stolen it can never be regained. Even in a forced contact such as rape or incest, the injured one is greatly outraged. If she has not cooperated and contributed to the foul deed, she is of course in a more favorable position. There is no condemnation where there is no voluntary participation. It is better to die in defending one's virtue than to live having lost it without a struggle."
- Prophet Spencer W. Kimball, The Miracle of Forgiveness, page 196
"And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth." (Genesis 4:9-14.) That was true of murder. It is also true of illicit sex, which, of course, includes all petting, fornication, adultery, homosexual acts, and all other perversions. The Lord may say to offenders, as He did to Cain, "What hast thou done?" The children thus conceived make damning charges against you; the companions who have been frustrated and violated condemn you; the body that has been defiled cries out against you; the spirit which has been dwarfed convicts you. You will have difficulty throughout the ages in totally forgiving yourself."
-Prophet Spencer W. Kimball, "Love Versus Lust", BYU Speech January 5, 1965. Often-used quote still used today in LDS seminary classes.
"I do not find in the Bible the modern terms "petting" nor "homosexuality," yet I found numerous scriptures which forbade such acts under by whatever names they might be called. I could not find the term "homosexuality," but I did find numerous places where the Lord condemned such a practice with such vigor that even the death penalty was assessed."
- Apostle Spencer W. Kimball, "Love Versus Lust", BYU Speech January 5, 1965
"If adultery or fornication justified the death penalty in the old days, and still in Christ's day, is the sin any less today because the laws of the land do not assess the death penalty for it? Is the act less grievous? There must be a washing, a purging, a changing of attitudes, a correcting of appraisals, a strengthening toward self-mastery. There must be many prayers, and volumes of tears. There must be an inner conviction giving to the sin its full diabolical weight. There must be increased devotion and much thought and study. And this takes energy and time and often is accompanied with sore embarrassment, heavy deprivations and deep trials, even if indeed one is not excommunicated from the Church, losing all spiritual blessings."
-Prophet Spencer W. Kimball, The Miracle of Forgiveness, Page 155
"How like the mistletoe is immorality. The killer plant starts with a sticky sweet berry. Little indiscretions are the berries -- indiscretions like sex thoughts sex discussions, passionate kissing, pornography. The leaves and little twigs are masturbation and necking and such, growing with every exercise. The full-grown plant is petting and sex looseness. It confounds, frustrates, and destroys like the parasite if it is not cut out and destroyed, for, in time it robs the tree, bleeds its life, and leaves it barren and dry; and, strangely enough, the parasite dies with its host."
- Apostle Spencer W. Kimball, General Conference Address, April 1, 1967.

Why would they bother seeking out an “apostle” for answers to questions? After all one repeatedly sees here how they throw them under the bus when their answers are unfavorable in the light of the pr they seek to present. Case in point is McConkie - the only one with more tire marks on his suit being bring’em young.
Dear "Apostle"
My friends make fun of my mormon faith and ask me questions
I cannot answer. Would you help me answer these questions?
1. How can their be more than one god, like you teach? If God is omnipotent (all powerful), He must be the only one. Do we mormons believe that there are many gods that aren't omnipotent? If so, how could they possibly be gods?
2. How can we believe God used to be a man??? God is eternal and never created nor made - and without beginning or end. How can we teach he wasn't always god?
3. How can we believe Joseph Smith was a prophet of God when he was a scammer? When he was a horndog that went after other mens' wives?
4. Why isn't there any archeological evidence for anything in the Book of Mormon? I just visited the Smithsonian Museum and there wasn't a single artifact from anything in the Book of Mormon. I think the whole thing is made up, frankly.
Please, please respond quickly. Even though I was raised mormon, I don't believe any of that stuff because it makes no sense!
Thank you and bless your holy toes,
Naomi Price
Tolerance is a virtue much needed in our turbulent world. But we must recognize that there is a difference between tolerance and tolerate. Your gracious tolerance for an individual does not grant him or her license to do wrong, nor does your tolerance obligate you to tolerate his or her misdeed. That distinction is fundamental to an understanding of this vital virtue.
I agree with this statement. My tolerance of you does not in anyway mean I must tolerate the blasphemy of God Almighty by lds. It does not in anyway mean I must tolerate the continuing spam by lds posters. It does not mean I must tolerate the lying about Jesus Christ by lds. It does not mean I must tolerate the lying about the Word of God Almighty. It does not mean I must be tolerant of lds.
Puleeze. You lecturing anyone on blasphemy, spam or lying is laughable. Well... you might not quite get that what you say is untrue so technically you may not be lying. Calling me a liar for example. Completely false. Spout your pompous propaganda to someone else anti.
Show where I called you a liar.
