So no other religion has “ever” changed a doctrine?

I suppose then that you keep the law of Moses? No? Revelation means God can correct you an I for one will take his correction over yours or any council of men or any mere mortal no matter how learned.

I could address everything you have brought up. But it would be a waste of time. The Pharisees said Jesus was a false prophet too. (Jftr when he prophesied of his death and Resurrection, they thought he was talking about the temple) likewise you misunderstand revelation and call it false.

LOL, what pure balderdash du. Lets compare the two shall we.

The bible and Jesus' teachings make it clear that the law of moses was completely fulfilled in Him.

What about mormonism? Lessee, discontinued the "everlasting covenant" because the president/prophet/seer of mormonism and all his cronies were facing arrest for continued violation of the law - shazam a 'revelation'.

Facing civil rights lawsuits out the wazzoo, and unable to find enough non-negros in Brazil to populate their temple - shazam, a 'revelation' that blacks could now hold the priesthood.

Hmmmmmmm revelation of a better relationship with God provided by Jesus compared to the response by man to the laws their church claims to uphold and sustain.

Indeed, I do keep it...and some of them I occasionally break. I've coveted. I've stole from God. And James says if I break one part of the law, I'm guilty of breaking all of it.

In that way, hey, I'm just like the Israelites who Moses delivered the Law to! (They kept it; and broke it)

Then Christ came and fulfilled it perfectly; and my trust in Him and His perfect obedience/righteousness is accrued to my account...what the words "reckon" and "justify" mean.

Reckon is a term from the commercial world...where God didn't count my sins against me because Jesus took up my personal debt. Justify comes from the legal world. It's a forensic word. I'm guilty; yet acquitted.

The Law didn't suddenly become less demanding or old-fashioned, DU. Somebody just happened to once and for all obey it perfectly. As Godzilla said, Jesus fulfilled it.

...when he prophesied of his death and Resurrection, they thought he was talking about the temple) likewise you misunderstand revelation and call it false.

More vague accusations, DU. How do you Mormons live with yourselves. You think you can go around & toss out empty accusations & that people are just s'pose to slink back -- even tho you do absolutely NOTHING to explain your accusations.

If I was to unpack the seeming sentiment behind your words, it'd be:
DU: "You're a revelation misinterpreter."
Me: "Oh? How so?"
DU: "What? You talkin' to me? Me? You talkin' to me?"
Me: "Yeah. How do I misunderstand revelation?"
DU: "What? You expect me to actually engage in anything other than hit-and-run accusations and character smears? You misunderstand revelation. I'm just going to leave it at that."
Me: "Oh."

MORMONism's 'doctrines' come STRAIGHT from the mouth of GOD!

IGNORE them at your OWN risk!
