The one thing Bishop O’Brien was sure to do was Punish Father Thomas Doyle ,bacause Fr. Doyle supported Abused children.
O’Brien Had Fr. Doyle dismissed from the military , 2 Years before Fr. Doyles retirement.

I knew Fr. Doyle early in his military career. He was the Catholic chaplain at Tinker AFB during the early 1980’s. I have been told by a still-serving priest that not only the military hierarchy but also the church leadership intensely hated Fr. Doyle.
