A Novena for Fr. Corapi

Novena for the Fr. Corapi Ordeal – March 25 to April 2

(Feast of the Annunciation to the Anniversary of Pope John Paul II’s passing)

HT:  Veneremur Cernui

Efficacious Novena To The Sacred Heart Of Jesus

(This novena prayer was recited every day by Padre Pio for all those who asked his prayers)

I. My Jesus, You have said, ‘Truly I say to you, ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.’ Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I knock, I seek and ask that my prayer be granted. (here, mention your request) ____________

Our Father…

Hail Mary…

Glory be to the Father…

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

II. O my Jesus, You have said, ‘Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name, He will give it to you.’
Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, in Your Name I ask the Father that my prayer be granted.

Our Father…

Hail Mary…

Glory be to the Father…

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

III. O my Jesus, You have said, ‘Truly I say to you, heaven and earth
will pass away but my words will not pass away.’ Encouraged by
Your infallible words, through the intercession of Mary, Your
holy Mother I feel confident that my prayers will be answered.
(mention your request)

Our Father…

Hail Mary…

Glory be to the Father…

O Sacred , O Merciful, O Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us poor sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of You, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate heart of Mary, Your tender mother and ours.

Hail, Holy Queen…

St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.

Thank you for taking the lead in this more perfect approach
to real combat against all forces alligned against Christ Jesus and His Church, and her priesthood. Let’s put our boots on in the manner and with the determination that Father Corapi would expect of us to the benefit of all concerned, including us pray-ers. We are family.

Lord, Let me not be lax and sloppy in this endeavor, for your sake.

Everyone is in trouble if someone writes a letter and the person written about is automatically judged guilty.

Doesn’t sound like the United States of America, does it?

We are in trouble!

OK, what if the superior of your church, maybe a Bishop, got a letter (anonymous) from someone who says you cavorted with other women, failed your marital or priestly vows, and were in general a scoundrel?

Would you be judged instantly guilty? (No) I’m answering for you because of our court system.

Then why is a priest judged instantly guilty?

Ugh, you made me break my FR posting fast.

WHAT controverial view? This one?

“In an address at the Call to Holiness conference in Michigan in 2002, Father Corapi called the policy “unjust.” He said there was no question the church needed to remove serial molesters or any priest who posed a threat. But he said there was “a radical difference” between a child-molester priest who “just wallows in it” and a priest removed because he was accused of one long-ago incident but who repented and went on to have 25-30 years of fruitful ministry.”

Sorry, but I agree with it. Have you known any priest who was falsely accused? I have. The church has deep pockets. Some people take advantage of it. THAT ruins lives too.

But as you know, here in America it’s Guilty until proven innocent....wait...What?

You apparently haven’t ever sinned in the past.

Me? I’m a sinner. So is Corapi. He freely admits that he was a down and dirty sinner. Being perfect, you wouldn’t understand.
And he has REALLY deep pockets.

I can honestly say I have not done drugs, been to prison, been on high speed car chases with cops, dealt drugs, been with prostitutes like Father Corapi. Neither have most Catholics in my parish.

We deserve better.

Good thing God does not put a value rating on our sins. Once the are forgiven, they are gone. Corapi need not be held to a higher standard by a human than he is by God.

I just prayered this prayer. I asked for the truth too. I believe Father is innocent. If we are wrong may God help the woman either way.

Also I have moved to another state 4 months ago. I have been waiting for a problem with the title for a car I bought before I left NY. Ga. has a different way down here. I asked the Lord I leave it up to him. I prayed on it. I see The Good Lord had his reasons. Things happened otherwise would not have happened without car. But any way my last pray on the matter was to ask Padre Pio for intercession with Christ.

Well I came back to my room to find the Padre Pio picture and encased Rosary on the floor in my path as I opened Door. This is mounted next to a picture of Christ on the wall. How it got there? Well! I believe a signal grace sign of course. Praise be His Name Jesus! The next day a Proper Ny title for Ga Transfer came in the mail. I am finally on the road with my own car. This was last week. AMEN!!! Praise Jesus and Hail Mary!!

What. You live in vacuum somewhere? You think everybody is going to tell you all their sins from the past. He told everybody about his past. Does everybody you meet talk about the bad or Good more. The Good is more told than the bad.

When you meet people do you emphasized the Bad or the Good. I know my sins are not the first thing I tell every body at Church. So how would they know. HELLO!!!

He keeps it real. He was into the truth when he remarked these quotes! Thats why he has a good reputation for now anyway. I could be wrong. I will pray for all involved.

May I also add two more saints to go to, they were both falsely accused, and one of them is the patron of such, St. Dominic Savio and Saint Gerard.
