Atheist activist Dr. Michael Newdow announced on his website that after 6 years of litigation in federal courts, his constitutional challenge to the Pledge of Allegiance in California public schools is “over.” Newdow indicated for “reasons that are best not divulged” that he would not appeal the case to the Supreme Court.

I’m hoping he, the Westboro freaks, and Madistan-based Annie Laurie Gaylor and her Freedom from Religion outfit are all wiped out by some catastrophe and end up in front of St. Peter on the same day. It will be the quickest reading from the Book of Life of all time, and the quickest trip to Hell.

Yes, yes, I know we Christians are taught to pray for our enemies even when their goal is to smash our faces into the dirt, but in Newdow’s case he is intelligent and knows exactly what he has been trying to accomplish, so

I hope that Michael Newdow while protesting a giant interstate-visible Cross, gets run over by a nuclear-powered SUV made in Israel and driven by Franklin Graham singing “Amazing Grace” with Newdow’s daughter in the passenger seat clutching her Bible.
