The primary reason for the decline is fundamentally a supplanting of God's sound words of Bible doctrine. In place of sound words, sound doctrine, where teachers and believers are not rightly dividing the Word of truth, and supplanting it with teachings which are more focused on the earthly rather than the heavenly things. This lack of sound doctrine teachings from pastor-teachers and evangelists has resulted in weakly prepared Christians, and many falsely saved believers. This leads to a path of self destruction in regards to sound doctrine in the soul. Sound doctrine is required to combat the attacks of the world system.
There are four principle reasons, outlined below, that demonstrates why Christianity is in decline:
1. 2 Timothy 4:3-4: Apostle Paul warnings. First off, the Apostle Paul warned that this time would come when even Christians would not listen to sound words: 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2. Fire and Brimstone preaching has been lost because pastors and evangelist are ashamed of the gospel and shun from warning people about the final outcome of HELL with its eternal fire and brimstone. We need to fervently warn people about the eternal hell fire and lake of fire. The knowledge of heaven and hell are paramount to evangelism. But this form of sound words has been diluted and watered down. Sadly, people are ashamed to preach and teach truths like heaven and hell. Politically correct -lies- have replaced sound words of truth.
3. Humanism is on the rise and has successfully permeated Government leadership in the world. The humanistic Government leaders have used humanism to supplant God as the source of man's subsidence on earth. Liberal are big proponents of humanism, i.e., "believe in the Government, it will save us", "believe in our secular leaders, they will save us", etc. Since Satan is the god of this world, it is no surprise that he has led governments and countries into this form of lie. Satan actually has a demon over every individual country head.
4. Satan's success program against Christians. Satan does not need to work with unbelievers to convince them, they are already in his grips and lost for ever [pagans, Islam, vain religious systems]. Satan's entire effort is on a continual attack on Christians. Satan promotes false teachings and false doctrines to deceive many, particularity the weak Christians who have little or no doctrine inside their soul to resist Satanic false doctrines. Satan also attacks the "professing" Christians, deceiving them into thinking that they are true Christians, and then when hard times comes, they fall away, unable to handle it [the Tares of the field]. Satan heavily promotes false doctrines which are not Biblical practices for believer-saints of God today, like:
Islam is replacing Christianity in those nine nations.

You forgot “self-appointed teachers who claim the right to condemn and judge everyone outside of their obscure little sect”.

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Falling away from what? Falling away from the true faith in Christ. Whether by atheism, paganism, or by allegiance to the spirit of antichrist/Islam... they fall away. Now you see it happening. What next? And then the man of sin is revealed. I am convinced that this will be the Madhi, the coming head of the final Caliphate, the antichrist. You watch. It is coming so quickly.
I wouldn’t mind if some of the old norse religions came back but the only people who seem to breeding in Europe are muslims.
Actually, I am one of those who believe there will be a HUGE rebirth of new converts and returnee’s to Christianity.
Once the SHTF, which will almost certainly occur sooner than later, people will not walk but rather run to the nearest church.
Historically, this almost always happens. Sometimes one must lose everything to find God.
We should see what the BBC thinks when their broadcast is pre-empted five times daily by the call to prayer from an official muezzin.
Why post something like this with a provocative title, without including “the nine nations” that are mentioned?

My thoughts:
The Netherlands will almost certainly be conquered by Islam.
A similar situation may arise in Canada. The Islamic population there is not yet large, but it will grow and the weak-willed Canadians will do nothing to stop the growing Muslim cancer within their midst.
New Zealand and Australia might survive the Islamic surge, if they can find the intestinal fortitude to round up and expel Islamics from their islands.
Not sure about the rest...
Islam is pure religion, enslaving humanity the way Satan intended it to do.
By the way, there is no religion called Islam either, they're all just as separated as the Protestant churches, except, the Muslims kill each other because of the differences.
I got news for ya, pal. Catholicism does NOT teach salvation by works.
The Catholic Church - is a “salvation by works” oriented type of church, which the Bible points out by the Apostle Paul. It is not a Christian Church in the sense of saved by the Grace of God, Called before the foundation of the World, God has written our names in His Book before the foundation of the world [Book of Life], saved by the faith OF Christ [not the faith OF man], Christ is the Head of the Church - Colossians 1:18, etc, etc, etc.
I got news for ya pal...Catholicism does teach that the Pope and the Church Building is the Head of the Church...BUT the BIBLE teaches that CHRIST is the Head of the Church - Colossians 1:18
You see Christianity as an individual religion? Salvation is an individual matter, between a person and God through the Lord Jesus Christ. From that point, Scripture insists that one’s faith is corporeal and public within the church. Hebrews 10:25 makes it very clear that we as Christians are to be actively involved in and with the body of Christ. We are to gauge the behavior of fellow Christians and rebuke them in a loving way(I Timothy 5:29). All of this requires fellowship with other Christians.
