The Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced Tuesday that it had suspended 21 priests from active ministry in connection with accusations that involved sexual abuse or otherwise inappropriate behavior with minors.
The mass suspension was the single-most sweeping in the history of the sexual-abuse scandal in the Roman Catholic Church in the United States, said Terence McKiernan, president of BishopAccountability.org, which archives documents from the abuse scandal in dioceses across the country.
The archdiocese’s action follows a damning grand jury report issued Feb. 10 that accused the archdiocese of a widespread cover-up of predatory priests, stretching over decades, and said that as many as 37 priests remained active in the ministry despite credible accusations against them.

Children seem to have a special spiritual sensitivity which adults don’t have, or have conditioned themselves out of (so to speak).
I take this account with far more credibility that if it were coming from adults.
I believe the children had real visitations from Jesus.

PHILADELPHIA - “The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is facing the fourth in a recent string of civil lawsuits over the alleged sexual abuse of children by priests.
Monday’s suit is filed by an Arizona man who says he was abused at Our Lady of Cavalry in Philadelphia from 1988 to 1991.
The former altar boy, identified only as ‘John Doe,’ says the offending priest continued to work around children despite repeated complaints to the archdiocese.”

Astounding. And still this pederast priest scandal doesn't boil over. Still people shake their heads at the complicity of Rome while kneeling in its pews and handing over money to its coffers which ends up paying victims of these protected, promoted and "beloved" pederast priests.
I watched the "60 Minutes" interview with NY's Cardinal Dolan on Sunday. What an incredible glutton. A sloth with food in one hand and a beer in the other.
He looked just like Philip Seymour Hoffman's priest in "Doubt," sitting at the dinner table with the other chortling priests, tearing meat with his hands while telling nasty jokes about women.

Rabbis work at their own businesses.
They are still revered probably overmuch as a priestly class . . .
But there’s not quite the same
divorced from the nitty gritties of reality
haughty, hypocritical, prancing, pontificating, political, magicsterical elites . . . rotten to the core . . .
The Jewish faith sure does a nice job of getting it right about a lot of things. For just a brief, simple example, I’ve tried to be much better in regard to humanity’s duties regarding treatment of animals. They’re oft a good example to go to.

Though my Christian farmer heritage was a good model, too.
Aw sure - farmers are good, salt of the earth people. There’s no bs-ing the soil - you got to get the job done or go hungry. Even then you quickly realize you can only control so much as a mere human - it’s a good, healthy way to grow a view of the world. Curious - what crop(s) did your family grow?
