Ahhh, the “We’re not so bad, look at the teachers” defense. I would think that an organization that claims the title church would hold itself to a higher standard than a secular group.

I would think that people who claim to be concerned about children would show at least a little outrage about the secular groups.

Do a keyword search for *arth* and check out the Another Reason to Homeschool threads.

You'll find plenty of examples of outrage directed towards public school teachers who sexually abuse children.

To claim or imply that there is none is disingenuous.

Apples/Oranges.

Post a thread about teachers and I will decry them as well. Churches should set the example, be seperate from the world. Not jump in feet first and then blame their sin on everyone else is doing it.

Franlky that defense sounds more like a 16 year old: “Everyone else is doing it...”
