Thanks for the ping, Quix.

Bella Dodd is fascinating. Used to be able to download her autobiography from Google Books for free, don’t know if it’s still there though.

"In a lecture at Fordham University during that time, Dodd unveiled what would seem to be an uncanny prophecy of future chaos in the Church."

I wonder if her lecture was recorded, or if her text was preserved in any way?

If you follow the Holy Word of G-d and not Man
one would know :
2 Cr 11:13 For such men are false apostles,
deceitful workers,
disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

2 Cr 11:14 No wonder,
for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Thanks for the ping Quix. I think it’s safe to say that the entire Church has been infiltrated by our common enemy. And before some of the more rabid Catholic defenders take offense at this, I mean the entire Church, including the Orthodox and Protestant branches as well. We’ve all been weakened by compromise in one aspect or another and it’s time that we all see that for what it is and begin to address it in the only way we can. Repentance and prayer for forgiveness and restoration.

As our Catholic brothers and sisters deal with this issue, it would be wise for those of us who belong to the other parts of the body to remember them and pray for their strengthening so that they can, in due time, remember us as well as we deal with our own internal issues.

When I was a teen in the church, I saw this happen to a parish I was in for one year.

They all came out of the closet and totally went opposite of everything politically, morally and socially that was the church and life in America. They were disgusting people and it was shocking to me as a child. My mom was freaked out to and she did not freak out easily.

I left the church because I felt I was in something that was working against love, life and God. I wanted to keep my faith in God and my culture. Now our whole country is like this.

As I said, you failed to note that Marcel the Rebellious died excommunicated.

re: you failed to note that Abp. Lefevbre died excommunicated

Impartial Canon Lawyers and SSPX friendly Canon Lawyers say he was not juridically excommunicated. His enemies say he was excommunicated.

You are not a canon lawyer, and neither am I. I'll leave it at that.

Maybe you didn't know that Abp. Lefevbre was the practically the ONLY BISHOP IN THE WHOLE WORLD WHO STOOD UP AGAINST THE INFILTRATORS WITHIN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!

If one makes themselves an enemy of Archbishop Lefevbre:

"the man who took the leading part of the conservative bishops, the Coetus Internationalis Patrum, the ONLY group opposed the progressivists at Vatican II. Abp. Lefevbre who took the greatest care to attach himself to "antiquity which, obviously, can no longer be seduced by any lying novelty." Abp. Lefevbre who was an anti-communist, anti-liberation theology, anti-everything that is opposed to what the Church has always taught."

If one makes themselves an enemy of Archbishop Lefevbre, they are placing themselves as a comrade of the Church Infiltrators intent on destroying the Church from WITHIN.

BY THEIR DEEDS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM

John Paul the Great was pope and that was an even higher credential than canon lawyer.

Whom to believe? Whom to believe? Apologists for the SSPX schism and dead excommunicated Marcel OR Pope John Paul the Great? I'm going with the late pope.

Gerald L. K. Smith and Billy Sunday (also a notable Chicago White Sox outfielder) and a lot of other fundamentalist preachers were anti-communist and anti-"liberation" "theology" but would not have appreciated any suggestion that such credentials made any of them a Catholic. OTOH, like the cult of dead excommunicated Marcel, the leaders of the reformation like Luther, Calvin, Zwingli were very enthusiastic in their rejection of papal authority and popes personally. In that sense, the cult of dead Marcel is quite "traditional" but not in any Catholic sense. We should all bathe regularly and reject communism and "liberation" "theology" but one can easily do so and still not be Catholic as dead Marcel proved.

Try not to wear out your capitalization key (or your bold key) while shouting on the Internet your adherence to the errors and sins of dead Marcel. He did not merely violate his vow of obedience. He massacred it.

May 1, 2011: Happy John Paul II Beatification Day!

It's obvious that you and I are from opposing camps. I'll let the readers judge who is on the side of truth and justice.

By their Deeds you shall know them.

Well, if you mean that I am a lifelong Roman Catholic in communion with the Holy See and have never attached myself to a schismatic cult founded by a long dead excommunicated ecclesiastical revolutionary, and you are a passionate devotee of that cult, yeah, I guess you could say accurately that we are in opposing camps. Eagerly looking forward to the May 1, 2011 beatification of His Holiness, John Paul the Great, and trusting in the ability and determination of Fellay and his associates to remain in schism, no schismatic propaganda will establish the schism as an exemplar of "truth and justice." Luther, Calvin, Zwingli and Lefebvre were all equally convinced that they were right and the Vatican was wrong to disagree with them respectively and the four of them were equally wrong in that respect.

Roma locuta, causa finita.
