If you can lose your salvation, that means that some action, some work of yours causes you to lose that salvation. That means that correspondingly some action, some work of yours is also a factor in your salvation. That is wrong, it is all God, who chose those to be saved from before time and direct their actions.

What did Jesus say? Did Jesus EVER say he had chosen some before time to irresistibly save, and the rest to damn for his pleasure?

Did he ever say, “If you made the list, you will be saved!”?

What did Jesus say?

28Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” 29Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” - John 6

“14 Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, 15and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” - Mark 1

“30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” - John 20

The Gospel is NOT “Maybe Jesus loves you...”
