I don’t know whether to read an almost 200 post thread or not. First thought is that the statements seem to make faith a tool of accomplishing things other that the soul’s salvation.
Saint Seraphim of Sarov said. “Acquire the Holy Spirit and thousands will find their salvation.”
This seems a more worthy goal than defeating this, that or the other thing.
