Lately, there seems to be a lot of conflict on the religion forum. Much of this has been between Catholics, Protestants, and Orthodox. To show that we are all united as Christians and to reduce animosity, I hope we can all agree to one of 4 following statements:
1) I am Catholic. I love Orthodox and Protestant Christians. I consider Orthodox Christians and Protestants to definitely be Christian. All Christians need to work together to defeat our common enemies-- specifically Islam, liberal postmodernism, and totalitarian communism.
2) I am Protestant. I love Orthodox and Catholic Christians. I consider Orthodox Christians and Catholics to definitely be Christian. All Christians need to work together to defeat our common enemies-- specifically Islam, liberal postmodernism, and totalitarian communism.
3) I am an Orthodox Christian. I love Catholic and Protestant Christians. I consider Catholics and Protestants to definitely be Christian. All Christians need to work together to defeat our common enemies-- specifically Islam, liberal postmodernism, and totalitarian communism.
4) I am a non-believer. I love Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant Christians. I consider Orthodox Christians, Catholics, and Protestants to definitely be Christian. All Christians need to work together to defeat our common enemies-- specifically Islam, liberal postmodernism, and totalitarian communism.
I feel confident that most freepers agree to at least one of these statements, even if they do not say so.
If you agree with any of these statements, please feel free to say so.
Thanks!
There are some statistically significant differences of that sort—i.e. that those more frequently, intensely involved in their faith TEND to be more conservative.
You just responded to me once again....
Now that's what? At least two lies to me...
I'm guessing that's your stock in trade. Eh?
You and a list of other RC’s . . .
usually precisely the ones who’ve been so
BRAZENLY PERSONALLY HARSHLY ASSAULTIVE;
GROSSLY UNCIVIL;
GROSSLY CONDESCENDING;
GROSSLY DERISIVE IN OUTRAGEOUS WAYS TOWARD ALL THINGS PRODDY
FROM THE BEGINNING OF FR.
So, please excuse me if I’m underwhelmed at such an assertion.
“OBVIOUSLY NOTHING! Stop the spin.”
No, it is pretty obvious that my posting history will contain posts on other threads. No spinning done at all.
“It seems there is a need to continue the same rant from past threads. Are you carrying the torch for someone?”
Is this one addressed to metmom?
But WaPaCon...said "religions"..or "religious".....that includes non-christians...which I don't think tend to lean USA like Conservative.
I now refuse to respond to combative people on this thread.
If that means that they now want to take many cheap shots at me, since I will not respond, then so be it.
Lurkers can decide for themselves who is behaving right.
Ahhhh.
Good point.
Your statement is wrong. Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists, Oneness Pentecostals, Unitarian Universalists and the gay denominations like the ECUSA, PCUSA, Methodists, Lutheran denominations are not Christian so there can be no unity.
I refuse to talk to anyone that doesn't agree with me.
Come back when you grow up.......and become a Conservative.
Thank you for speaking for us Catholics and showing these ‘Proddies’, as you call them, Protesters, these, pardon the expression, petulant mosquitos, forever by their own choice outside the Body of Christ, how absurd, heretical, and desperate their twisted views are. As a Catholic, you are our Brother in Christ, Brother.
I do not disagree with you. Can you point out where I said any of these people are Christian? If I did, I was mistaken or expressed myself poorly.
Thanks for being so terminally
WRONG
yet again.
Besides Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists, Oneness Pentecostals, Unitarian Universalists and the gay denominations like the ECUSA, PCUSA, Methodists, Lutherans who are not Christian, you expect me to have unity with Catholics, Pentecostals, Methodists who falsify Bible teaching? Not going to happen. Nearly all those denominations that call themselves ‘christian’ are not christian at all.
(Nobody Hearts Me!)
Whatever. I never mentioned any of these groups specifically as Christian, except Catholics, and they are definitely Christians.
We’ll just have to agree to disagree about that.
If you think I have included those who are not Christian to you, besides Catholics, please point it out.
Jesus commands us to love everybody, including our enemies.
I have not called for anybody to compromise their beliefs, if that is why you are posting this.
